Tutor: Richard is an international award-winning composer (Finzi Composing Competition Winner 2023) regularly commissioned, performed, recorded and broadcast by leading musicians. He has over 25 years experience providing inspirational composition teaching to all ages from primary and secondary students to sixth form, undergraduates and postgraduates (Bristol University). He is a regular contributor to Music Teacher Magazine, a composer for the award-winning Listen Imagine Compose project, and currently an employed tutor for Bristol Beacon with up-to-date DBS and safeguarding training.

Approach: Richard’s teaching approach is to define and support the student’s own musical aims, ideas and personality, giving detailed feedback and practical techniques to help them achieve their goals.
